Meat and Eat Restaurant: A Tasty Experience with One Regret

Image
I recently visited Meat and Eat Restaurant with my friends for a fun night out. We were excited to try out their menu and see what this family restaurant had to offer. After some discussion, we decided to order some cheesy french fries, chicken nuggets, a chicken piece, and an apple mojito. The restaurant staff was courteous and took our order promptly. We were eagerly waiting for our food to arrive. When the food arrived, we were all delighted to dig in. The chicken nuggets and chicken piece were cooked to perfection, and the apple mojito was refreshing and delicious. However, when it came to the cheesy fries, we were left with mixed feelings. We had never tried cheesy fries before, but the picture on the menu looked tempting, and we decided to give it a go. Unfortunately, the taste of the cheesy fries was not up to our expectations. We found it to be too salty and the cheese didn't taste quite right. It was a bit of a letdown, but we didn't let it ruin our experience.

We stayed in Muvattupuzha Block in the Ernakulam district, and from there, we set out on a journey to discover the many wonders of Kerala. From the breathtaking architecture of its houses and churches to the serene backwaters and the lush hill stations, Kerala is truly a paradise for travelers. In this blog, I'll be sharing my experiences and recommendations for anyone planning a trip to Kerala.   The Rich Cultural Heritage: One of the highlights of our trip was exploring the many prominent churches in Kerala. The architecture and design of these churches are truly wonders to behold, and they serve as a testament to the rich cultural heritage of the region. St. Francis Church in Kochi, one of the oldest European churches in India, was particularly impressive. The intricate carvings and stained-glass windows were breathtaking, and

My Disappointing First Visit to KFC at Ziro, Arunachal Pradesh

Image
I wanted to give KFC a try with my friends, at Ziro Arunachal Pradesh. But the main obstacle was money. However, after much discussion, we decided to save our pockets for a month and visit the newly opened KFC in Ziro, Arunachal Pradesh, together. Our excitement was at an all-time high as we entered the restaurant and placed our order for hot chicken wings, boneless strips, choco lava, and drinks. However, as time passed, our patience began to wear thin as we waited for what seemed like an eternity for our order to arrive.  We watched as other customers who arrived after us received their food promptly, and we began to wonder what was taking so long. The waitresses were busy running back and forth, but our order was nowhere in sight.  Finally, after almost an hour of waiting, our order arrived. However, our excitement had already evaporated, and we were extremely disappointed. The hot chicken wings were lukewarm, and the boneless strips were dry . We were left wondering if it

Chasing Snails in Arunachal Pradesh

Image
As a college student pursuing my Bachelor's degree in Mass Communication, I am always up for new adventures and experiences. One day, right after our classes at Saint Claret College in Ziro, Arunachal Pradesh, my friends and I decided to go through Hija Village on our scotties. Little did we know that this trip would turn into a memorable snail hunting expedition! As we were passing through the village, we noticed snails in the fields beside the road. Intrigued, I asked my friends if they ate snails, and to my surprise, they said they did and liked them. This sparked an idea, and we made plans to collect snails when we were all free.  Days went by, and after our second sessional test in April, we set our plan in motion. The day was hot and sunny, but we were determined to collect as many snails as possible. We headed to siibey village in Hapoli, armed with four polyethene bags, ready for some snail hunting. The process of collecting snails was not only exciting but also amusing,

My First Encounter with Kozhukatta and Arioounda in Kerala

Kerala, the land of backwaters, beaches, and c oconut trees, is also known for its delectable cuisine. The food in Kerala is not just   delicious but also has a unique blend of flavors and spices that can tantalize your taste buds. When I first visited Kerala in June 2022,  with my close ones, I got the chance to taste some of its authentic dishes, including Kozhukatta and Arioounda. We stayed at Muvattupuzha block in Ernakulam district, I had the opportunity to taste Arioounda and Kozhukatta for the first time at an uncle's place in Kerala. The warm hospitality of the family and the delectable traditional  snacks made for an unforgettable experience. Kozhukatta, also known as Modak, is a sweet dumpling made of rice floor and stuffed with jaggery and grated coconut. Arioounda, on the other hand, is a savory dish made of rice flour and coconut, and it is usually served as a snack or breakfast item. When I first tasted Kozhukatta and Arioounda, it was a bit weird for me as the tast

"A Reflection on My First Internship. Lessons Learned and Growth Achieved".

Hi there, Welcome to my blog post! In this post, I would like to share with you my experience during my first internship. So without further ado, let's dive in! January 2023 was a month that I'll never forget. It was the month that I embarked on my internship at The Hindu an Indian English-language daily newspaper, one of  India's most prestigious newspapers. As some one who has always been passionate about writing and journalism, I was thrilled to have the opportunity to work at such a renowned media house. However, as a young woman who was new to the world of journalism, I couldn't help but feel nervous and intimidated. I was worried that I lack the necessary skills and knowledge. However, I was fortunate enough to have a god father who is an architect and was always willing to offer guidance and support. Whenever I had doubts or needed tips and pointers, I would call him up and he would patiently listen to my concerns and offer me valuable advice. His encouragement
